my non-traditional
role models.
Convention always points to
Marco Polo or Richard
Lionheart or Christopher
Columbus, etc., but
as I learned and matured
I realized that males do not
have a monopoly on courage
or character.
Eleanor Roosevelt,
Susan B. Anthony
Hellen Keller
and many more females
should be honored as well
if justice is to be served.
