An interesting observation.

The DSM-IV defines sex as: "a person's biological status as male, female or uncertain."

Uncertain... betcha most people aren't aware that's possible but I learned in one of my biology classes that it's much more common than you think. What implications does this have for our assumptions about gender roles, determinations, sexuality, etc...

Discuss.

How you could look between your legs and be uncertain of your sex is amazing to me. You have a penis, you are a man. You have a vagina, you are a woman. Not exactly rocket science.

Cause some people look down and see both... therein lies the confusion. I mean, I'd be confused truth be know.

So on TLC the other day there was a story about an "individual" that was the victim of a botched circumcision as a newborn. His parents took him home and raised him as a girl. WHAT!!!????
